Velvet Elk City is aflutter today with the official release of the Dead Heavens single, “Adderall Highway”, b/w “Hyacinth. The staff is trying hard to stay out of each other’s way, with the possible exception of senior management, Tom Baker. Apparently caught napping under his desk with a copy of the 1974 May edition of “Modern Bonzai,” Tom otherwise has spearheaded the Dead Heavens rooting section. As of release, he was unavailable for comment.

There are a couple of purchase options here for you.

  1. There is a rapidly shrinking stock of the limited edition 7″ vinyl for the single. You want? Well, head on over to Adderall Highway 7″ Vinyl.
  2.  For those more inclined to the digital keepsake, it’s available here: Dead Heavens on iTunes. Note – the 7″ Vinyl purchase ALSO includes the digital release.

These guys are on a roll, and if their last NYC show was any indication, they have an incredible record around the bend.
