About the Album

With a rafter reaching voice and crazily charismatic stage presence, Kelley Swindall has toured the country solo with her fiercely unique sound ,for the past decade. Equally at home in a biker bar or under a proscenium arch, she seamlessly blends outlaw country with blues, roots and folk.

A born storyteller with a sensibility that’s both hilarious and heart-on-sleeve sincere, Swindall’s songs posit strong personalities against a world of misogyny, heartbreak, and hilarious absurdity; celebrating resilient spirits in all their flaws and prowess.

Her idiosyncratic debut record, You Can Call Me Darlin’ If You Want, will be released this summer on Velvet Elk Records.

All about the heart, it’s a coming-of-age album, and an emotional tour-de-force built out of love, loss, broken-glass heartbreak, deception, and redemption. All the stuff real country music is made of.
